ohhhh yes...just remembered..this afternoon..while i was watching the new with my granny..there was report of a women..57 who gave birth to twins (a boy and a girl). congrats..but i must say..poor kids!!! firstly..the lady is old enough to be their granny..and by the time the kids are 10, the lady will be 67!!! i guess i dun have to explicitly state what's on my mind. such an occurence (is it dbl r?) is unnatural. at 57..she'd have already begun menopause..meaning..no menstruation..and imbalance of hormones. it's a wonder she can still be pregnant. and 57 is when the body starts to fail u..and a baby leeches on ur nutrients..and she was carrying 2!!!! besides..if u're really meant to have kids at the ripe old age of 57..u'd not be menopausal. i worry for her children..though i vaguely remember them being healthy. which is a good thing.
underneath it all..i have a silent admiration for this lady..she was clearly fit to carry 2 children to full term..and was reported to suffer from pregnancy induced diabetes. also..she's very healthy and apparently has lil risk of high blood pressure or heart disease if she follows a healthy diet (isn't that the case for all of us?). but really..dun u wanna yell at her for being quite selfish? at 57..she's past the halfway mark of her life. what if she dies and her children are still young and defenceless?
anyway..i'm doen ranting..hahaha....i jkust remembered abt this lady cos my granny was also ranting to my mum. guess griping runs in the family! (: maybe that 57yr old lady's baby girl will have her own kids later on in life..though that's the current trend anyway (57 is just stretching it a little!). ok...really..a bug's life beckons!!! (:
